Smooth Meals are made from 100% plant based foods which has a major impact on the environment. Contrary to the meat and dairy industry which have a major impact on environmental degradation and climate change, plant based food products have a very small environmental footprint. Plants also absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, which benefits all!
Recyclable
Smooth Meals bottles are 100% recyclable. They are made from a extremely durable material, PETE #1 plastic, that can be reused and is accepted by all recycling facilities across Quebec and Canada. This type of plastic can be transformed into a multitude of objects like polar fleece, reusable bags, furniture, rugs, bottles and other food containers.
Zero food waste production
At Smooth Meals, no food product or ingredient are thrown out during production. All left over ingredients (coffee grinds, lime peels) are composted. All cardboard boxes, and plastics are recycled.

Locally sourced
Local suppliers are always prioritized, ingredients from Quebec are front and center in our recipes : blueberries, oats, spinach, maple syrup, plant based protein, etc. Our bottle and label manufacturers are local, so as to support local businesses and to keep transport to a minimum

Smooth Meals are 100% Canadian, so they don’t travel far to get to your door. In addition to being better for the environment, shortened product transport time avoids the use of any chemical preservatives. This contributes to less production of chemical products by large polluting industries.
